Pro Spot kicks off 2022 with the launch of its new PBE Paint and Body Equipment (PBE) distribution program.
Pro Spot is well known for its high end spot welders, Pulse Mig welders, riveting tools and dent removal products.
The PBE program is designed to provide more access to several products that have been developed by Pro Spot. The program offers a complete collision repair offering, including MIG welders, plastic welding equipment, glass repair kits, glue dent repair tools, assorted MIG welding wires and many other tools welding and bodywork.
The DE PRO Dustless Sanding System is a perfect example of one of the products that will be offered under this program.
This system operates with low pressure, low flow compressed air. With no electrical input, it can be used in the prep area of paint booths and is approved for use on all materials, including aluminum.
The system is exceptionally portable and comes complete with an DA and a block sander, as well as an assortment of the new line of iGrit ceramic abrasives made exclusively for Pro Spot.
Pro Spot will work with existing distributors and add new PBE distributors who have a keen eye for introducing these products to the broader body shop market.
The objective of this new launch is to make these products easily accessible to a greater number of body shops through new distribution channels and through online direct sales.
2021 has seen a disruption in supply lines around the world, with many businesses and individuals severely affected. Most of these products are designed and manufactured in California. As a result, supply lines are shorter and more reliable.
Body shops have experienced a huge backlog in parts accessibility, which has led to a higher demand for repairs rather than replacements in order to get customers’ cars back on the road in a quick and cost-effective manner.
This new program is a huge win-win for the collision repair industry. With greater access to top-quality, American-made repair tools, body shops can successfully repair customers’ cars to their original condition in a more acceptable time frame.
Pro Spot has been a leader in the development of tools and equipment for the collision repair industry for over 30 years. Beginning in a small store in Escondido, CA in 1986, Pro Spot grew to over 2,200 square feet and moved to a new production facility and headquarters in Oceanside, CA in 2004.
Within just a few years, the company again needed more space to accommodate its growth and expansion. Pro Spot moved from the Oceanside factory and moved to its Carlsbad location in 2012, where it is still headquartered.
This 60,000 square foot facility houses a state-of-the-art production facility, engineering, research and development, customer service, sales and marketing, as well as a training center and a recently added television studio to produce their training seminars and virtual webinars. . In addition, Pro Spot also has regional training centers in Denver, CO, Nashville, TN and Tampa, Fl, as well as a fleet of service vans across the United States and Canada.
Pro Spot’s new PBE program will be led by Art Ewing. He spent 15 years at Pro Spot as Director of Distribution, Director of Canadian Sales and Director of Marketing. He also acted as a consultant for the Pro Spot marketing team.
Pro Spot is currently in a beta rollout in a few key markets to verify that product selection, inventory and logistics are in order.
Look for the full rollout coming in Spring 2022.
